Context in which the lesson is set |
These lessons are the fourth and fifth in a series of lessons looking at geographical surroundings. Over several hours pupils build up a picture of their ideal town, giving reasons for their choices of who and what will be in their town. During this process pupils become familiar with the vocabulary associated with Persons, Buildings, and Rules. They also have the opportunity to consider the human qualities of the people in their town |

What the lesson is about |
In this lesson pupils consolidate their ideas about their town. They bring together all their ideas from previous lessons and put together a final description of their town. |

Expected outcomes |
A final version of their ideal town. An example of pupils work is here. |

Pupils used ideas put together from previous lessons to draw up a written description of their town, using I.T, to present their ideas in the clearest possible way. |
