The BeCaL Learning Centre has been created by significant contributions from the following people:

Chris Sunderland - Chris is Co-ordinator of AGORA, an organisation seeking
the renewal of civil society amongst both adults and young people. Chris
has played a leading role in the development of the thematic/conceptual
approach to Citizenship Education outlined here, in association with Ruth
Deakin-Crick, and Deborah Peskett. Teacher guides based on this approach
are to be published by the Stapleford Centre under the title Exploring

Steve Bishop - Steve is an FE lecturer at City of Bristol College. He has assisted through careful and expert technical editing of the text and has also contributed the mindmaps which can be found in each of the 7 steps. Email stephen.bishop@cityofbristol.ac.uk
